Insomnia, headaches and migraines, digestive troubles and constipation, bloating and cramping, achy bones and moodiness and irritability are all symptoms of calcium deficiency. For calcium to be effectively absorbed it is essential for the human body to have sufficient supplies of vitamin D (the sunshine vitamin)

Sooooo eat more calcium rich foods ie ~ leafy and green vegies, cold water fishes such as sardines and salmon, organic almonds and sunflower seeds and walnuts, peanuts, dried beans , kale, broccoli and collard greens.

Eat more foods rich in vitamin D too ie ~ fish oils and cold water fishes such as salmon..... or simply get 10 - 15 minutes of safe sun exposure daily.

Carbonated drinks ie ~ sodas and soft drinks and antacids such as Mylanta, and also caffeine will rob you of your precious calcium supplies ... With carbonated drinks they leach the calcium from our bones and caffeine inhibits calciums absorption.

Calcium is needed in our bodies to maintain strong bones and healthy teeth, to keep your heart beating regularly, help metabolize your body's iron and aiding your nervous system with impulse transmissions.

Do you also suffer from fatigue and exhaustion, dizzy spells, excessive feelings of being cold, nasty headaches??? If so, these are all symptoms of iron deficiency anemia ...... without calcium your iron absorption will be inhibited.

Pump up you fresh filtered water intake too as the healthiest and happiest body will always be the most hydrated one.

Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine) and Vitamin B3 (Niacin) work together to produce the brain chemical serotonin, which is essential for restful REM sleep, so take a multi B complex supplement that includes all the B's at least 2 - 3 hours before bedtime, ie ~ B1, B2, B3, B5, B6 and B12...... do not buy any of the B complex of vitamins individually unless under instructions from a qualified practitioner or naturopath as the B complex all work best as a group.

Organic loose leaf chamomile tea (only organic will have therapeutic value as the commercial varieties have had way too much of the goodness pulverised from them) does wonderfull things for soothing frazzled nerves and calming a stressed body...... Organic Chamomile tea will also soothe headaches, indigestion and stomach pains of any sort and brilliant as a hot tea inhalant to relieve hayfever and other allergic conditions of the eyes, nose and lungs.

If you choose to use the organic loose leaf chamomile tea simply put 2 teaspoons full into a teapot, fill with boiled water and brew as you would a normal pot of tea for 10 - 15 minutes ........... the taste is a bit bland so perhaps spice it up with raw organic honey or a squeeze of fresh lemon or lime juice ♥

Foods rich in Tryptophan will help induce natural sleep and aid in reducing anxiety and tension.

Avoid caffeine for a few hours before bedtime too.

foods rich in Tryptophan are ~ bananas, cottage cheese, milk, meat, fish, turkey, bananas, dried dates, peanuts and all protein rich foods ............. turkey sandwiches for supper may just do the trick buddy......... :0)

Naturally resolving the problem will always be the best way .... :0)

banana's help me to sleep! i know that sounds crazy, but it's true :) i've had my own fair share of sleep problems, most of them were down to low blood sugar - you may have a similar problem considering you can get to sleep but you're waking up a couple of hours later, this may be down to the fact that your blood sugar is low after not eating for a couple of hours.

eating a banana will give your blood sugars a boost and will also help you to sleep as they contain tryptophan which will help you to relax. i keep one on my bedside table and if i find myself awake in the middle of the night unable to sleep then i eat it and i'm asleep again in no time! i also often have one just before i go to bed. just don't overdo it on the bananas as they may give you headaches if you eat too many but just eat one as you need them.

other things that really help have been mentioned above like avoiding caffeine and sugar (this is really important for healthy sleep, sugar will put your body on edge and caffeine will do the same as well as stopping your body producing the chemicals it makes in the evening to make you sleepy), having a glass of warm milk before you sleep, listening to relaxing music or a meditation CD, getting exercise in during the day that will relax you naturally - all of these things will help.

give the banana thing a try and see if it works, i really hope this helps, sleep problems **** :(

Apparently dried Hopps are a good natural remedy. You can order off t'internet and maybe get them from garden centers, though I'm not sure. You just put them in a pillow case and put them under your pillow or next to your bed on a table and they emit chemicals that make you sleepy. Smell a bit like a brewery though.

Try taking a warm bath before u retire to bed
Take a hot glass of milk.
Do not watch too much TV
Read a good book instead

There is Restyl .25mg to sleep but you will sleep for few hours and then it breaks your sleep. It has a pattern so that you don't get very drowsy and sleep too long.It is mostly not recommended to take any tablets without Doctor prescription (They don't give u this mostly over the counter) It depend on which place you are staying. Try if you can get.Because it is ..25mg, it is not dangerous.
It is not 25 but point 25,can you see the dot before 25(PLEASE NOTE)
Just buy one strip and don't make a habit.Take only one tablet .See if it helps you.You should not get into the habit of taking tablets and getting sleep.
I had taken due to severe tension, it calms your mind and makes you sleep.
