Can someone help with my sleep problems?
I’ve always had a problem getting a full night’s sleep, however, for the past few months I’ve seemed to have adopted some additional problems with my restlessness.
Every night I manage to fall asleep for a few hours, but then wake up for no apparent reason for at least 2 to 3 hours. I wake up with my body feeling extremely warm and achy. I have no idea why this is happening now. My high body temperature and aches are something that I’ve only begun to experience for about a week or two now.
In addition, I experience the occasional headaches. Also, with the hours of restlessness, I find myself waking up at the late hours of the morning, and feeling extremely tired during the day.
I used to be able to control my sleepiness, and make it through the day. But now I find that all I ever feel like doing now is sleeping. I’m so tired.
Can anyone suggest some effective ways to improve my sleep problems without the use of medication? And also, why I experience high body temperature and aches?
Answer
Don’t eat or excercise within 3 hours of going to bed.
Don’t turn on the TV when you go to bed or when you wake up in the middle of the night.
Stop sleeping in a recliner or on a couch when it’s not bedtime.
Drink a glass of milk before bed. (makes you sleepy and helps with heartburn)
See a doctor about your new symptoms.
